Man with a Movie Camera (A Not So Silent Film Screening)

Foothills Art Center, FREE

Local artists collective, GLDN, will screen the 1920’s silent film,“ManWith a Movie Camera” by Deziga Vertov. This part documentary, part cinematic art piece is hailed for its use of complex and groundbreaking camera work. A live house band will play an original score to accompany the entirety of the film while a few lucky audience members will be selected to contribute sound effects. You’ve never seen a silent film like this before.
